[Agnes] I’m going to try something new today, something I haven’t tried before – rhubarb jam. I’ve made blackcurrant jam and other things but I’ve never tried rhubarb jam. We have plenty of our own rhubarb growing in the garden and when we were young it’s all we had. In the summer, rhubarb jam and a good blob of cream on top, what could be better than that? We’ve already eaten it in a tart, we’ve eaten it in a crumble, who knows how many different ways we’ve tried it this year while we’re stuck in the house and we have the time to do it. But today, I’m going to try jam and we’ll see if it works. Catriona is also making scones.
